MusicCarolina-Choirs
The choirs of the Capella Carolina are mainly made up of students, but also early-career researcher and alumni. We are open to all talented singers who enjoy making music in an international, highly focussed yet relaxed atmosphere.
As the choir of the International Study Centre of Heidelberg University (ISZ), it is particularly important to us to integrate foreign students in joint rehearsals, concerts and celebrations. Anyone with choral experience and particularly good vocal and musical abilities is cordially invited to join our award-winning chamber choir "Camerata Carolina". Our "rapid reaction force" GSG9, which is made up of singers from the large choir and the chamber choir, performs at university events, company celebrations and private parties, among others.
Die Capella Carolina besteht aus drei Chören:
- the large choir "Capella Carolina", which is open to all talented singers who enjoy making music together,
- the chamber choir "Camerata Carolina", whose demanding programs require particularly good musical and vocal qualities,
- the so-called "GeSangsGruppe 9" (GSG9)
